About HOLIDAY CHANNEL

HOLIDAY CHANNEL® is a free streaming service for classic holiday films. Pick any film in our on-demand library, select Watch now, and it plays right in your browser. There's no account to create, no subscription and no advertising.

What's in the library

Short films from the early decades of cinema, gathered for Halloween, Christmas and Easter. Each film has its own page with a synopsis written by our team.

If you'd rather not choose, the 24/7 Channel plays the library on a continuous schedule, day and night.

Silent films

Every film in the library is from the silent era. We present them silent and mark each one “Silent film”. Title cards on screen carry the story and the dialogue.

Where our films come from

Every title on HOLIDAY CHANNEL is in the public domain in the United States. Before a film goes online, we check its copyright record and where our copy came from. Our copies come from public archives such as the Library of Congress and Wikimedia Commons.

We show each film as it was made. We take out music or narration added in later years, and we add a short HOLIDAY CHANNEL ident at the start and our logo in a corner of the picture.

Some of these films are more than a century old and reflect the attitudes of their time.

Where you can watch

Anyone can browse HOLIDAY CHANNEL. Films play in the United States and its territories: Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands. Copyright terms differ from country to country, so playback stays within the United States.

HOLIDAY CHANNEL runs in your web browser on computers, phones and tablets. Films stream only; there are no downloads.

Who runs HOLIDAY CHANNEL

HOLIDAY CHANNEL is operated by Holiday Channel, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. HOLIDAY CHANNEL® is a registered service mark of Holiday Channel, LLC.
